Cherry Valley Hotel

This hotel was even better than the photos depicted online. Spacious reception area opens up onto a small lake with a fountain and gazebo, surrounded on all sides by the octagon shaped hotel for privacy and quiet. The restaurant has great reviews and looks like it would be a nice place to eat but I was up for wedding and didn't get a chance to do so. The bar was excellent and I was able to enjoy a well made drink during my stay. The bartender was perfect with just the right amount of engagement and conversation. My room was much larger than expected with a separate sitting / dining area from the bedroom which had it's own door. The cleanliness was exceptional, trust me, this is probably the most important requirement for me when traveling. Cherry Valley was one of the best I have stayed in. They have earned my business and will by my stay of choice whenever I am in this part of Ohio again.

The room was and clean. The check in staff contacted me within five minutes of getting to my room to make sure everything was to my satisfaction with in the room. We brought the kids with us so we needed extra blankets and towels and they brought them almost immediately. The food served their was excellent and the wait staff was prompt, professional, and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. The igloo pods outside were heated and available for lounging. All in all will definitely revisit cherry valley. Thanks for the good time.

The facility is attractive and welcoming but fraying at the edges. The hall carpet is iffy in places sound but worn. Some of the beautiful woodwork in the hallways is dinged and the small garden outside my room definitely needed some TLC. It was fairly weedy but still had attractive qualities. The staff is outstanding except for the front desk lady who forgot to give us your breakfast vouchers and then made me hike all the way around the building to the front desk to pick it up. The breakfast staff mAde up for that though.

The hotel room was large and comfortable.

It was very serene and loved the ponds and fountain gazebo and ducks .. The Hotel was beautiful inside.. the only recommendation the balconies on the 2 nd floor need cleaned , we had to cleanup ourselves dirty and spider infested .. so didn’t sit out there we walked the paths and sat on the comfy furniture ..by the gazebo and firepit..
